“I follow the empty path,
Most times, I don’t know where I’m at,
Yet, I keep on walking through the field,
Tired and wary behind my shield.
They say I can’t go on writing forever,
As if my poetry is an unwanted love letter,
But I persist and insist; perhaps I’m just missing
A golden piece that would stop me from failing.
I try my luck every new page, every new line,
I believe, one day, I will make it out alright,
For now, I’ll let the blossoming flowers teach me
The best way to go through this field of rhymes and mystery.”

Ana, well said. As a writer pursues every word, the empty path becomes overgrown with imperfect drafts. Time and patience will reward a treasured new path.
